The New York Times Building (now known as 1 Times Square) is located at 42nd and Broadway was completed in 1905. This building was designed by Eidlitz and Mackenzie Architects and stands 362 feet tall with 25 floors. This building is currently used as a giant billboard for various advertising and is unoccupied from the 3rd floor up. The famous “ball drop” in Times Square occurs 77 feet above the Time’s roof.
