infocustech medical alarm system

Direct connection

This configuration shows a direct connection input option. Mic/In #1 is powering a MIC-M noise sensor. A custom input cable is plugged into Mic/In #2. This cable is connected to the nurse call output jack on the monitored piece of equipment. It is setup for a normally open connection, meaning the "dry contacts" of the nurse call relay will close when an alarm condition is active. This is the most common nurse call output jack wiring method. Additionally, one or both outputs (PZ-M remote lamp / buzzer, aux / out) can be connected as needed.
